Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with passengers, colleagues, and dispatch.
• Willingness to work various shift hours and days to support veterans’ transportation needs.
• Ability to store a company-designated passenger van with Navarre Corporation logo at residence.

Responsibilities

• Safe and reliable transportation: Operate a company-provided shuttle/sedan in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Safely transport veterans who are disabled within the designated service area and according to the assigned time schedule.
• Vehicle inspections: Perform pre and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Passenger assistance: Assist passengers, including those using wheelchairs or mobility aids, in boarding and alighting.
• Communication and reporting: Maintain communication with dispatch and complete written reports for passenger-related matters and incidents.
• Passenger guidance: Inform passengers about rules and regulations for a safe travel experience.
• Luggage handling: Assist with loading and securing luggage during transit.
