Job summary

Axiom Staffing Group is seeking a Rear Entry Van Line Conversion Technician in the United States to convert OEM vehicles into wheelchair-accessible mobility vans. You will perform teardown, mechanical assembly, and finish operations across the conversion process, removing OEM components, protecting reusable parts, and installing flooring, trim, seating, and wiring.

Ideal candidates have automotive technician or similar hands-on experience, can read assembly instructions, and lift up to 50

Qualifications

Experience in automotive technician, mechanic, collision repair, fabrication, or vehicle assembly preferred.
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and work procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavier components with assistance.
Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform teardown, mechanical assembly, and finish operations for rear entry vehicle conversions.
Remove OEM components and protect reusable parts during teardown.
Install conversion components, flooring, trim, seating, wiring, and accessories.
Verify fitment, alignment, and functionality; follow work instructions and drawings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow PPE policies.
