Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Wheel Refurbishing Technician for our Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers. You will refurbish commercial truck wheels through steam cleaning, shot blasting, and painting, in a training-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: previous manufacturing experience including shot blasting and painting.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform wheel refurbishing: steam cleaning, shot blasting to remove rust/paint, inspect for unsafe conditions.
• Paint wheels with special paint and color for customers.
• Maintain inventory to ensure correct products are issued to customers.
• Follow daily/weekly/monthly maintenance schedules and keep logs.
• Provide Safety/Service Excellence compliance and use protective equipment.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
