Job summary

Venus Construction, Inc. is seeking a Front End Loader Operator in Mansfield, TX to safely operate wheel loaders for underground utility projects. You will handle materials, support trench work, and maintain safe, organized job sites while following project specs and OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a wheel loader in underground utility or heavy civil construction.
• Ability to read grade stakes and follow directions from foreman or superintendent.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders to load and move materials such as select fill, sand, gravel, and excavated spoils.
• Load haul trucks with proper material placement and weight distribution.
• Support pipe crews by maintaining backfill material supply and staging along trench lines.
• Manage spoil piles and maintain separation of suitable and unsuitable materials.
• Assist with trench backfilling operations in coordination with excavator operators and pipe crews.
• Maintain haul roads, access points, and work areas for safe operations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Identify and avoid underground utilities and other hazards.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
