Job summary

Experience in heavy equipment in an industrial setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a wheel loader or similar heavy equipment is preferred.
• Experience in a sawmill, lumber yard, woodyard, or industrial setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a wheel loader to move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Load trucks, trailers, bins, and designated storage areas as directed.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow loading procedures to prevent spills or damage.
• Coordinate with supervisors and drivers to ensure smooth material flow.
