Job summary

Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is seeking a Wheel Loader Operator for a PLP project between Denmark and Germany. Location is Rødbyhavn, Denmark, with 28 days on/off offshore rotation. Employment is permanent and salaries are provided under the relevant Danish CBA.

Start date ASAP; EU citizenship or residence in Denmark required. The ideal candidate holds a Wheel Loader Operator Certificate, STCW safety certs, and Seafarer Health Certificate, with fluent English and a proactive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Wheel Loader Operator Certificate is required.
• Basic Safety Certificate - STCW 2010 A-VI/1 and Seafarer Health Certificate are required.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
• Experience as Able Seaman is a plus.
• Experience with winches is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loader during loading and discharging of rock and gravel.
• Manage the stockpile on the rock barges and ensure stability.
• Perform daily maintenance of the wheel loader and report malfunctions.
• Assist with deck duties when loader is not in use.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Mandatory:
• Wheel Loader Operator Certificate.
• Basic Safety Certificate - STCW 2010 A-VI/1 & valid Seafarer Health Certificate.
• Experience as an Able Seaman is a plus.
• Experience in operations with winches is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• A practical, hands-on and proactive mindset.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work on rotational offshore schedules.
• Fluent in English.

Tasks:

• Operate wheel loader during loading and discharging of rock and gravel.
• Manage the stockpile on the rock barges and ensure their proper stability.
• Do and support daily maintenance of wheel loader.
• Report any technical malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Deck duties during periods that the wheel loader is not in use.
