We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.

Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill a WHEEL (YARD) LOADER OPERATOR position at the Cross Plains Quarry located near Cross Pains, TN. The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience operating a large-size, wheeled loader – like a CAT 988, CAT 992, Komatsu WA500-8, Komatsu WA600-8, or similar. The successful candidate must also have an uncompromising commitment to safety excellence.

JOB DETAILS

• Full-Time
• Day Shift
• Location: Cross Plains Quarry – Rogers Group Inc – Cross Plains, TN
• Wages starting at $23.00/hr. for entry level candidates.
  
  

JOB RESONSIBILITIES

• Primarily operate a large, wheel loader on the yard to load trucks and maintain stockpiles.
• Ability to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service.
• May also be required to operate various other pieces of heavy equipment as needs require, and at the discretion of the plant manager and foreman.
  
  

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of experience operating a large wheeled front-end loader – similar to a CAT 988, CAT 992, Komatsu WA500-8, or Komatsu WA600-8.
• Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment – loader, dozer, track hoe, skid steer – preferred.
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Ability to pick up on new tasks quickly.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration requirement.
