Job summary

Midas International, LLC is seeking an experienced automotive technician in Soldotna, Alaska. You will perform wheel alignments and a range of under car repairs, ensuring high productivity and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently and in teamwork.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree added advantage.

We are looking for automotive technicians/mechanics that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success!

Responsibilities

As a Midas alignment technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing Wheel Alignments and a wide range of under car repairs and maintenance, including:

• Wheel Alignments using state-of-the-art Alignment system
• Steering and Suspension diagnosis and repair
• Brake inspection diagnosis and repair
• Vehicle Maintenance
• Belts and hoses
• Radiator and engine cooling systems
• Batteries, starting and charging

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, suspension, & wheel alignments
• Track record of high personal productivity
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
• Valid driver’s license
