Job summary

Midas Auto Experts in Eatontown, New Jersey is looking for skilled automotive technicians to provide quality inspection, diagnosis, and repair services. Candidates should be capable of working independently and collaboratively in a full-service facility.

The ideal technician will have hands-on experience with vehicle repairs, a valid driver's license, and preferably their own tools. Midas values dedication to safety standards and offers benefits like health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools.
• Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ownership of tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tires and tire repair.
• Handle steering and suspension repairs.
• Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections.
• Perform oil changes and check engine light diagnostics.
• Work on mufflers and exhaust services (preferred).

Job description

At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are looking for automotive technicians/mechanics that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success!

Responsibilities

• Tires and tire repair
• Steering and suspension
• Belts and hoses
• Radiator and engine cooling systems
• Batteries, starting and charging
• Steering and suspension
• Brakes
• Oil changes
• Check engine light
• Mufflers and exhaust services (Preferred)
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools (tools preferred also)
