Job summary

UMOS, Inc. is seeking a WHEAP Supervisor in Kenosha, Wisconsin to implement emergency and proactive energy crisis guidelines, coordinate with county/state funding sources, and ensure compliance with all regulations.

The role requires leadership, budget oversight, and strong community partnerships. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Associate degree with related experience and offers a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ related experience, or an associate degree with 2 years in WHEAP/LHEAP
5–7 years’ experience directly in WHEAP/LHEAP programs or equivalent
Demonstrated computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

Responsibilities

Implement guidelines for emergency and proactive components of Energy Crisis for Kenosha County
Coordinate with Kenosha County and State funding sources
Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines including PSC regulations
Monitor program budgets and expenditures with the Director and UMOS Accounting Dept
Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and state programs
Supervise program staff and provide staff training
Ensure data entry of applications and assist with crisis applications
Attend meetings, planning sessions, and other appointments; perform other duties as assigned
