Job summary

Matson Logistics in Hawaii is seeking a hands-on operations associate to support cargo receipt, barge operations, and container yard coordination. You’ll check cargo, survey vehicles for receipt and delivery, and help ensure accurate ingate/outgate processing.

What you’ll do:

• Provide professional customer service - responsible for checking cargo and surveying vehicles for receipt and delivery
• Barge operations - verifying and recording of containers/autos being discharged and loaded.
• Container yard - use computer equipment to coordinate ingate/outgate processing purposes.

You have these qualifications:

• Able to perform job duties described above in addition to proficient computer skills.
• Available for shift work; days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• This role requires working outside.
• This role involves working in a noisy environment while wearing hearing protectors (P.P.E.) for considerable periods of time during the working day.
• Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment.
• Must have a valid TWIC card.

The hourly rate is $60.493 for this position in Hawaii.
