AltaGas is hiring for a Gate Station Technician I to support Washington Gas facilities. The role involves safe operation and maintenance of gate station equipment under supervision, including calibration, troubleshooting, and basic installation tasks.
Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED and hands-on technical experience in mechanical/electrical trades, with basic math, physics, and electronics knowledge; a valid driver’s license is required where applicable.
WGL – Gate Station Technician I
Washington Gas is currently hiring a Gate Station Technician I. In this role, you will assist in the safe operation and maintenance of gate station facilities and pressure regulating equipment (GSO facilities). Under the direction of senior personnel, you’ll operate, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and install less complex equipment used at GSO facilities.
Shift Work: As required. Will report to various company facilities as required. Overnight travel may be required.
Use Of Personal Vehicle: As required

Rate Classification: Grade 4A- $33.14 per hour, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement
