WGL is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory to lead our efforts in rate cases and regulatory matters within the District of Columbia. This is your chance to be at the forefront of major initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in a dynamic legal environment.
Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel for Regulatory, the Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory will be responsible for matters before the utility commissions in the greater Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region, with a specific focus on the District of Columbia Public Service Commission (DC PSC). The ideal candidate will have significant administrative and civil litigation experience, including practicing before the DC PSC, another public utility commission or FERC, and a proven track record of successfully filing rate cases and other applications that create value for the Company. This person will have the opportunity to serve in a first chair capacity on a variety of matters before the public utility commissions.
