Job summary

Insituform Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing/Wetout Technician to prepare Cure-In-Place Pipe liners per exact customer specifications. You will stage, wrap, load and secure liners for transport while following strict safety and quality procedures.

The role requires reading and interpreting safety and operation manuals, with ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions. A strong emphasis on teamwork and a clean, compliant work area is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a drug test and criminal history background check.
• Experience as Construction Laborer or Installation Technician preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cure-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner according to customer specifications.
• Handle all aspects of CIPP liner preparation including staging, wrapping, loading and securing for transport.
• Mix chemicals that require wearing a respirator.
• Follow safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Operate wet-out or truck conveyors, static mixers and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load wet-out tubes in totes or trucks per procedures.
• Communicate with team and management about safety, quality, or other work aspects.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5's guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of Cure-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner according to the exact specifications agreed upon by the customer.
• All aspects of CIPP liner preparation, to include staging, wrapping, loading, and securing for transport.
• Mix chemicals that require wearing a respirator.
• Perform all work according to safety standards.
• Follow all quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Operate wet out or truck conveyors or tugger systems, operate static mixers, and other process related equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Load wet out tube in totes or trucks according to processes and procedures.
• Clearly communicate effectively with other team members and management as it pertains to safety, quality, or other work-related aspects.
• Keep a clean organized work area and plant following 5's guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, and stretch.
• Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear without visual cues.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal history background check.
• Previous experience as Construction Laborer or Installation Technician Must be a self-starter.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
