Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of wetlands policy, hydrology, and regulatory frameworks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directs all aspects of the Boston Wetlands Program to ensure MassDEP regulatory timelines and reporting requirements are met.
• Supervises 18 Wetlands Program and 401 Water Quality Certification staff across permitting, technical, and outreach functions.
• Leads development and revision of wetlands-related policies, regulations, guidance, and procedures with MassDEP leadership and other agencies.
• Coordinates public hearings, stakeholder comments, regulatory revisions, and outreach to communicate new regulations and guidance.
