Pheasants Forever, Inc. and Quail Forever (PFQF) seek an experienced biologist to deliver wetland-related conservation programs across Missouri.

The role is housed in the Warrensburg NRCS field office and involves coordinating with NRCS and MDC to implement ACEP and other programs for private landowners. The successful candidate will design, protect, restore, and manage wetlands and upland habitats, and communicate complex plans effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Wildlife Management or related field with 3 years of wetland experience.
• Experience in wetland restoration and Farm Bill program familiarity preferred.
• Strong documentation and design skills for habitat plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and GIS software such as ArcGIS/ArcPro.
• Ability to work with NRCS, MDC and private landowners.

Responsabilités

• Deliver wetland-related farm bill programs and provide technical assistance.
• Coordinate enrollment, design, protection, and restoration of wetlands and upland habitats.
• Work with NRCS, MDC and partners to promote ACEP and related programs.
• Prepare reports, site assessments, and conservation planning documents.
• Engage with PFQF chapters and regional habitat meetings.
