Job summary
Mid-States Concrete Industries is seeking a Wetcast Supervisor to lead daily production across wall panels, beams, columns, and slabs. You will coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Shipping, and other teams to meet schedules while upholding safety and quality standards.
The role emphasizes developing staff, achieving FPY improvements, and fostering continuous improvement through Lean practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing and leading crews.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
- Experience with batching and concrete placement.
- Lean/continuous improvement experience.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily wetcast production activities across all operations.
- Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality Control, and Maintenance.
- Monitor production progress and address bottlenecks.
- Drive FPY improvements and process optimization.
- Lead Lean initiatives and maintain 5S standards.
- Maintain safe, organized work areas and report incidents.
