Job summary

Talent Corps is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Project Manager to lead wet utility infrastructure for a large-scale data center project in the Denver, Colorado area. This is a full-time on-site leadership role responsible for projects up to $20 million, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in wet utility or heavy civil construction, with water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of project management experience in wet utility or heavy civil construction.
• Experience delivering water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure.
• Projects up to $20 million in value.
• Data center, industrial, or mission-critical construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration skills.
• On-site Denver, Colorado work availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage wet utility construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Lead projects valued up to $20 million.
• Oversee installation of water mains, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, drainage structures, and underground infrastructure.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and utility agencies.
• Manage project financial performance, including cost control, change orders, and monthly forecasting.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and all applicable safety regulations.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
• Resolve field issues and provide leadership to project engineers, superintendents, and field personnel.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and closeout packages.
