Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking Wet Utilities Engineers and Designers to join our Southern US team. You will work on major transportation design projects, employing Bentley Microstation and ORD software, coordinating with environmental, roadway, and structures teams to deliver reliable water and sewer utilities for highways.

Roles span junior to senior levels, with potential relocation assistance and a hybrid work model based in a local AECOM office.

Qualifications

• BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
• Junior Level: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or equivalency.
• Mid-Level: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or equivalency.
• Senior Level/Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or equivalency.
• Preferred: EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience; ORD software experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects.
• Engage in conveyance systems design for highways and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with environmental, roadway, structures, signing, MOT and drainage teams.
• Develop highway water/sewer utility designs including manholes and pipes.
