Job summary

Imagineering Finishing Technologies is hiring Wet Processing Technicians to operate and monitor plating processes and related testing to supply high quality parts. Shifts include 1st: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 3rd: 9:00 PM–7:30 AM; location: Indianapolis, IN.

Reports to the department Supervisor & Plant Manager. Responsibilities include reading work instructions, maintaining plating bath chemistries, inspecting parts, and safe handling of materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have basic math skills to count quantities.
• Flexible to changing responsibilities/priorities.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend specific work instructions.
• Maintain plating bath chemistries, including titration, auto-controller operation and temperature probe operation.
• Upkeep plating area and equipment by proper operation and handling procedures.
• Visual in-process inspection and adhesion testing.
• Control plating thickness and perform testing as required.
• Package completed customer parts when required.
• Handle materials safely, including chemicals, in all plating processes.
• Lift 10–30 lbs repetitively; stand for duration of shift; overtime as required.
