Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is hiring for a concrete finisher. You will apply wet or dry finishes to concrete members according to shop cards and assist with finishing tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Work involves outdoor, sometimes loud conditions. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience. Benefits are available as part of the employee package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Review shop cards for previous day’s pour.
• Saw off strand ends and apply galvanizing compound.
• Burns off strand ends and apply patching material to finish.
• Clean concrete off connection plates and apply spray paint.
• Strip off blockouts and cutbacks; salvage woodwork as needed.
• Rock/grinds PVC blockouts, lifting loop blockouts, cutbacks, washes, etc.
• Apply grout to form sides of concrete members to fill small holes.
• Apply #8 or #13 finishes to concrete members as needed.
• Bull float or hard float wet concrete as needed.
• Place surface plates or lifting devices in wet concrete.
• Perform finishes as requested by Supervisor.
