Job summary

Tindall Corporation is seeking a skilled finishing technician to apply wet or dry finishes to concrete members in our production facilities. You will follow shop cards, perform detailing, and ensure surfaces meet quality standards.

Work environment is outdoors with varying weather conditions and loud equipment; prior experience in finishing concrete and safety awareness is preferred. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews shop cards for previous day's pour.
• Saws off strand ends and applies galvanizing compound.
• Burns off strand ends and patches to finish; cleans concrete off connection plates and applies spray paint.
• Strips off blockouts and cutbacks and salvages woodwork as needed; rock/grinds PVC blockouts, lifting loop blockouts, cutbacks/blockouts, washes, etc.
• Applies grout to form sides of concrete members to fill in small bug holes.
• Applies #8 or #13 finishes to concrete members, as needed.
• Bull float or hard float wet concrete, as needed.
• Places surface plates or lifting devices in wet concrete.
• Performs required finishes as requested by Supervisor.
