Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join a dynamic, team-oriented environment responsible for selecting and maintaining manufacturing equipment for TI’s semiconductor processes. You will evaluate equipment, manage installations, and drive uptime improvements while collaborating across process engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/chemical/mechanical/materials or physics related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment for manufacturing processes.
• Overseeing installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Staying current on equipment manufacturers' notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Studying equipment performance and reliability.
• Establishing programs to increase uptime and solve equipment issues affecting manufacturing.
