Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing team. You will evaluate, select, and order equipment for cost-effective production, oversee installation and maintenance, and stay current with vendor notices and safety issues.

You will analyze equipment performance, implement uptime improvements, and provide technical support to repair and process engineering teams while developing preventive maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field as listed
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant semiconductor manufacturing equipment engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and order equipment cost-effectively for product manufacture
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Stay updated on equipment manufacturer's notices, upgrades and safety issues
• Study equipment performance and reliability
• Develop programs to increase uptime and address equipment problems affecting manufacturing
• Provide technical support to repair and process engineering teams
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules
