Pace, located in Fairfield, NJ, is seeking a Scientist 1 for a full-time, onsite role. You will perform hands-on analysis in our environmental testing laboratory, using instruments like GC, HPLC, and ICP to ensure accurate environmental data. The position runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m.

to 7:00 p.m. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry (or related science) and offers training.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other science-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing, PPE, and safe handling of chemicals.
• Pace® offers training as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Work with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more to analyze samples.
• Analyze air, water and soil samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Document procedures, observations and results to maintain high-quality lab records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
