Onterris, Inc. in Deer Park, TX is seeking a Wet Chemistry Technician I to support multiple projects, analyze water and soil samples, and help maintain lab operations.

The role offers a daytime schedule Monday–Friday, with possible overtime to meet project needs. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related field and have about one year of relevant lab experience, with strong attention to safety and data recording.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• 1 year of relevant lab experience allows direct advancement to Tech II (academic lab counts).
• Knowledge of analytical method, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good organizational skills and strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze water and soil samples for alkalinity, conductivity (EC), pH, TDS, TSS and turbidity.
• Analyze samples for Oil & Grease, cyanide, sulfides, BTU, and corrosivity checks.
• Maintain clean laboratory glassware and work areas.
• Maintain organized records of sample preparation and analysis.
• Assist with inventory of consumables, chemicals, and instrument parts.
• Comply with QA, Health & Safety, and other policies.
• Support group leaders and analysts on projects.
