Job summary

Onterris, Inc. in Orange, CA is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to prepare samples, support daily lab operations, and deliver accurate results on time. You will collaborate with a skilled team in a fast-paced environment.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, with a pay range of $20–$23 per hour, commensurate with experience. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and a background in analytical methods and lab safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of analytical methods and instruments used in laboratory testing.
• General lab practices and safety knowledge.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze water and soil samples for alkalinity, conductivity, pH, TDS, TSS, turbidity.
• Test for oil & grease, silica cleanup, cyanide, sulfides, BTU, corrosion, ferrous iron, flash point, ignitability, MBAS, phenols, phosphates, cyanide/sulfide.
• Analyze ammonia, BOD, COD, hexavalent chromium, TOC.
• Clean laboratory glassware and maintain clean work areas.
• Keep organized records of sample prep and analysis.
• Assist with inventory of consumables and instruments.
• Comply with QA and Health & Safety policies.
