Job Overview

The Restaurant Director is responsible for ensuring attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient service in the F&B Outlets while maintaining budgeted payroll and overhead costs. The role involves improving sales revenues, managing Food and Beverage Outlets to ensure high-quality food, developing team members, and enhancing guest and employee satisfaction. This is an exempt position requiring flexibility to work as much as necessary to fulfill responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a 2-year college degree and 3+ years of related experience, or a 4-year degree with 1-2 years of experience, or a Culinary Degree with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Applicable certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Extensive experience in restaurant, bar, and in-room dining management.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to evaluate options quickly, work under pressure, and handle workplace problems effectively.
  • Financial acumen including data analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and payroll management.
  • Knowledge of hotel organization, industry trends, and local competition.
