Job summary

Oscar, in partnership with a high-growth international wealth platform, is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Western United States expansion. This is not a traditional private banking role; you will build a market, originate relationships and create a lasting UHNW client franchise within a global platform.

Qualifications

• Significant private wealth experience in private banking, wealth management, family office, or similar UHNW environments.
• Proven UHNW origination track record with personal client growth.
• Strong commercial capability to identify opportunities, build networks and convert relationships.
• Sophisticated wealth-management knowledge across investment management and structuring.
• International / cross-border experience across multiple jurisdictions; US-Asia exposure is relevant.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build opportunities and markets.
• Credibility with UHNW clients at senior levels across a range of families and executives.
• Long-term mindset with a patient ramp and durable business development.

Responsibilities

• Originating and developing UHNW client relationships.
• Building a sustainable Western US client franchise.
• Developing relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, executives and internationally connected families.
• Identifying opportunities within the US-Asia wealth corridor.
• Building a network of introducers and referral relationships.
• Advising on investment management, wealth structuring and multi-jurisdictional requirements.
• Leveraging international/offshore capabilities for differentiated solutions.
• Collaborating with investment, planning and product teams for an integrated client experience.
• Defining market strategy and commercial direction of the Western US business.
• Building a regional team over time.
