Role Overview

Remote position; reside in CA, NV, or AZ. Responsible for maintaining and developing 30+ food distributors across 19 Western US states, mainly in CA, NV, and AZ.

Company Description

Manufacturer of frozen, premium, all-natural flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends sold through distributors to restaurants, resorts, hotels, bars, cruise lines, and gourmet manufacturers.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and develop relationships with 30+ food distributors in the region.
  2. Focus on growing market share, customer satisfaction, and exceeding sales and profitability goals.
  3. Manage 1 Sales Representative.
  4. Identify revenue opportunities, track trends, and improve service and sales strategies.
  5. Utilize CRM for customer engagement tracking.
  6. Review regional sales performance with the Director of Sales and analyze reports.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food sales and distribution.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Excel.
  • Ability to plan 30/60/90 days ahead.
  • Experience in data analysis, sales reporting, product training, and trade show planning.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%, with airport accessibility.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $90-95K plus a 20% bi-annual bonus. Fully paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, EAP, 401K, profit sharing (~12%), 11 paid holidays, vacation, and company equipment including laptop, docking station, cell phone, and credit card. Mileage reimbursement included.
