Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Prior clinical experience required.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at start.
• L icensure: Unrestricted VA Medical License or ability to obtain.
• Payor Credentialing: Ability to credential with CMS payors.
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful credentialing for staff membership.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective care to ambulatory patients.
• Demonstrates teamwork and coordinates care across disciplines.
• Uses evidence-based standards to improve patient care and practice.
