Responsibilities

San Marcos Treatment Center, a 212-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility located between Austin and San Antonio in Central Texas. The facility sits on 65 acres with trees and wildlife. We provide 24-hour psychiatric care to girls and boys ages 6 to 17 with customized therapeutic approaches and intensive behavioral programs that teach young patients to moderate their behavior, manage emotions, and improve social functioning.

THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION FROM OUR FACILITY IN SAN MARCOS, TX AND THE WESTERN NATIONAL COMMUNITY LIAISON WILL BE LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA.

Our Western National Community Liaison acts as a liaison between the facility and referral sources and implements service-oriented action plans responsive to referral source needs. The role serves as a resource and representative to the community and includes traveling to assigned territories based on strategic planning. The position involves planning scheduled trips in advance with pre-arranged quality appointments with various referral sources. In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and the Business Development Team, the National Community Liaison presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. The position includes weekly travel within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field required. Masters degree preferred. Military experience also preferred.

Experience: Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred. Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Valid Driver's License

Skills & Knowledge: Good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of the behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric treatment and age-specific programming. Demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, computer proficiency, and excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of and skills in marketing and sales principles; creativity and flexibility; skills in data collection, analysis and interpretation; adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.
