Job summary

MAS Building & Bridge, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to join our Heavy Civil Construction Division in Western Massachusetts.

The role blends office and field tasks, supporting planning, scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management across bridge, rail, marine, utility, and roadway projects. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, site inspections for quality and safety, and preparing submittals, RFIs, payment requests, and Change Orders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Previous internship in heavy civil construction is preferred, but not required.

Western Massachusetts Field Engineer:

Join MAS Building & Bridge as a Field Engineer in our Heavy Civil Construction Division. Play a vital role in project planning and construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. This position offers a dynamic blend of office and field tasks, providing valuable hands‑on experience in diverse Heavy Civil projects including bridge, rail, marine, utility and roadway construction.
