Position Details
- Location: 3 Farm Glen Boulevard, Farmington, CT 06032 but will be required to frequently travel to clinical sites in Western Connecticut (Cheshire, Danbury, Ridgefield, Meriden, Wallingford, Hamden, Prospect, Torrington, Bethel, Newtown). Position is mileage reimbursement eligible
- Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/weekly, Monday through Friday, hours between 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of organization and national standards and guidelines related to clinical compliance, patient safety, infection control / prevention, and CLIA waived testing and ensures compliance at the practice sites
- Schedule periodic site visits to provide supervision, clinical expertise, ensure communication, and monitor the clinical aspects of the practice site
- Participate in Practice Health and Safety Assessments. Assist in development of corrective action plans to minimize liability and risks as a result of the Practice Health and Safety Assessments
- Collaborate with Director of Clinical Operations and Director of Nursing to analyze trends in Assessment reports and identify opportunities for improvement and / or education
- Assist with orientation and clinical training to all clinical staff through Clinical Staff Training program
- Evaluate and document performance and competency of clinical staff, including sterilization, vital signs, medication administration, phone triage, and CLIA waived testing
- Maintain oversight of temperature monitoring and complete annual CLIA competencies
- Assist with implementation of clinical policies and procedures, as well as new regulatory directives
- Collaborate with Regional Medical Directors to support changes related to provider productivity and performance on quality measures
- Work closely with Practice Managers to provide oversight for clinical coverage during staff outages
- Function as BLS instructor to maintain certification of clinical staff and providers
- Collaborate with occupational health to perform and document fit testing as needed
- Maintains positive and supportive relationships with Regional teams, practice managers, providers, and clinical staff. Work closely with staff to identify and rectify workflow barriers
- Provide education and training support to practice sites for internal and external regulatory and quality assessments
- Periodic auditing of practice sites for compliance with adherence to clinical policies and procedures, quality metrics, and standardized workflows
- Assist practice staff with ordering and vaccine inventory management
- Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Currently possess a bachelor’s degree
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Connecticut
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare delivery (patient care)
- Knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations relating to clinical operation
- Basic computer knowledge and aptitude
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Primary care experience
- Managerial experience
- Experience with various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.
- Experience with EMR systems (EPIC)
- Ability to independently adapt schedule or day to the needs of the region or business with strong prioritization skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
