Job summary

The Nutrition Group in the United States is seeking a staff member to work in a local school kitchen/cafeteria. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends, holidays off.

You will perform cooking and food preparation, portioning and serving, and ensure sanitation per USDA/state guidelines, HACCP compliance, and cost/inventory monitoring. Food service experience preferred; reliable transportation required.

About the Job:

This position will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria.

Duties may include:

• Cooking and food preparation
• Portioning and serving
• Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
• HAACP and health department regulation compliance
• Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls

Qualifications:

• The ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
• A positive and consistent work ethic
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• A willingness to learn and grow within your position
• Food service experience preferred
• Computer literacy preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
