- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- Prepare menu items according to the recipe manual and plate presentation standards
- Ensure product rotation and stock items to par levels to prevent disruptions
- Complete assigned prep work, stock, and set up stations
- Transport items and assist with vendor deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area throughout the shift
- Break down and clean stations at closing
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Stand and walk 100% of the shift
- Reach, bend, and stoop as needed
- Speak, read, and write English fluently
- Read recipes, food labels, and POS ticket orders
- Communicate ticket times, manage food flow, and report issues to the manager
- Safely operate kitchen machinery (grills, stoves, slicers, etc.)
- Handle hot plates, pots, and pans safely
- Use knives and utensils safely
- Lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift, including on high shelves and coolers
- Hold items weighing up to 5 lbs. for extended periods
- Work in high-temperature, damp environments indoors and outdoors as needed
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks
- Complete and pass a food safety certification program as per company and state regulations
Additional Details
- Work five days a week with two consecutive days off
- Paid vacation: one week after 1 year, two weeks after 2 years, three weeks after 10 years
- Christmas bonus after one year of employment (equivalent to one week’s pay)
