Flanigan’s prides itself on made-from-scratch recipes, superior ingredients, generous portion sizes, and positive, high-energy kitchen vibes. We’re always looking for talented and passionate cooks to join our BOH family and accurately prepare the dishes guests love at Flanigan’s.

  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
  • Prepare menu items according to the recipe manual and plate presentation standards
  • Ensure product rotation and stock items to par levels to prevent disruptions
  • Complete assigned prep work, stock, and set up stations
  • Transport items and assist with vendor deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area throughout the shift
  • Break down and clean stations at closing
  • Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Stand and walk 100% of the shift
  • Reach, bend, and stoop as needed
  • Speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Read recipes, food labels, and POS ticket orders
  • Communicate ticket times, manage food flow, and report issues to the manager
  • Safely operate kitchen machinery (grills, stoves, slicers, etc.)
  • Handle hot plates, pots, and pans safely
  • Use knives and utensils safely
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift, including on high shelves and coolers
  • Hold items weighing up to 5 lbs. for extended periods
  • Work in high-temperature, damp environments indoors and outdoors as needed
  • Assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks
  • Complete and pass a food safety certification program as per company and state regulations
Additional Details
  • Work five days a week with two consecutive days off
  • Paid vacation: one week after 1 year, two weeks after 2 years, three weeks after 10 years
  • Christmas bonus after one year of employment (equivalent to one week’s pay)
