Pediatric Surgery
* General Surgery department with 23 faculty members, including specialists in Trauma/Critical Care, Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and Otolaryngology Surgery.
* 100% Pediatric Surgery focus.
* Pediatric Department comprises 35 full-time physicians with a comprehensive team of pediatric sub-specialists.
* State-of-the-art $30 million Pediatric Hospital with a Level III NICU.
* Medical School offers training through 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs, with over 250 residents and fellows working alongside 400 providers across 75 primary and specialty care areas.
* Fully accredited General Surgery residency program graduating four residents annually.
* Rural Surgery residency program starting in 2023.
* Residency programs in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, along with fellowships in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
* A healthcare network of over 750 beds, including two teaching hospitals and a dedicated Pediatric hospital, serving over 1 million children and adults.
* Academic appointments are commensurate with experience and training.
* Clinical research interests are encouraged.
* Uses Cerner Electronic Medical Records system.
