Job summary

Rhythm Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Director, Field Medical to lead and develop a team of Medical Science Liaisons while driving scientific engagement and field execution across the West Region.

This role reports to the Head of Field Medical and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to translate medical strategy into actionable field activities. The ideal candidate will have an advanced clinical degree (PharmD/PhD/MD/DO), 8+ years in pharma/biotech with medical affairs experience,

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO).
• 8+ years of experience in pharma/biotech, including Medical Affairs or Field Medical.
• At least 2 years in people leadership within Medical Affairs or Field Medical.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of MSLs for scientific exchange and field execution.
• Partner with Field Medical leadership to implement strategy and regional priorities.
• Coach on territory planning, stakeholder engagement, and priorities execution.
• Drive high-quality insights generation and synthesize field observations for strategy.
