Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Director, Field Medical to lead a team of Medical Science Liaisons and drive scientific engagement across the East Region from GA (Atlanta).

You will translate medical strategy into effective field execution, develop leaders, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to advance Medical Affairs objectives. The role requires a strong scientific background, 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sectors, and at least 2 years of people leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare field, including Medical Affairs or Field Medical.
• At least 2 years of people leadership within Medical Affairs or Field Medical.
• Strong understanding of medical affairs, field medical strategy, and evidence generation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned regions and for national meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of MSLs to ensure excellence in scientific exchange and field execution.
• Partner with Head of Field Medical to execute strategy and align regional priorities.
• Coach field personnel to enhance scientific capabilities and communication skills.
• Oversee territory planning, stakeholder engagement, and regional priorities.
• Drive high-quality insights and translate field observations into strategic recommendations.
• Support evidence generation via collaborations and advisory activities.
• Monitor field activity and KPIs to optimize performance.
