Job summary

3PEAK INCORPORATED, a leading semiconductor manufacturer, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales and manage customer relationships in the West Region. This role requires a strong technical background in analog products and excellent communication skills to translate technical features into business benefits. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in sales within the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets. An attractive compensation package is offered, including medical benefits and 401k plan.

Locations: Flexible, remote.

Preferred: Southern California. Other West Regions are also considered.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned revenue targets and market share goals within the West Region.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new customers and design opportunities. Prioritizing opportunities where competitors are vulnerable and 3PEAK's analog signal chain and power management offerings provide a distinct technical or business advantage.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers at existing strategic accounts.
  • Manage and develop relationships with Sales Representatives and Distribution partners to maximize channel effectiveness.
  • Manage the Design-In stages of projects with customers, keep close touch with R&D department personnel of major customers, develop in-depth understanding of customer applications and systems, and provide system solution supports for customers.
  • Translate complex technical features into clear business benefits (cost savings, performance advantages, time-to-market) that resonate with purchasing decision-makers.
  • Efficiently resolve customer technical issues by collaborating closely with internal Product Line, Marketing, and Applications Engineering teams. Serve as the primary technical liaison between the customer and 3PEAK's internal engineering resources.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience transitioning from an FAE role into a Technical Sales/Sales Engineer role.
  • Existing relationships with key customers in the West Region Americas.
  • Experience working with Distribution partners and Sales Representatives.

Your profile:

  • BS/MS in Electronic Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 4+ years of a customer-facing sales role within the analog semiconductor industry, preferred combined experience in a technical role (e.g. FAE, Applications Engineer, etc) .
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning designs in the semiconductor market.
  • Possess application experience correlated with analog signal chain or power supply products is a plus , such as operational amplifier, ADC/DAC, interface, DC/DC, LDO, etc.
  • Great written and oral communication skills, and strong team cooperation ability.
  • Familiar with the industry ecology of automotive electronic applications, communications, consumer, industrial and other markets.
  • Willingness to travel within the West Region.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
