Position Overview:

This role involves skilled workers performing construction and maintenance in the natural gas sector, including working with the public. Responsibilities include operating equipment such as backhoes, excavators, plows, trenchers, or directional bore machines for underground utility installation, removal, or maintenance.

Essential Functions:

• Perform construction and maintenance duties related to the natural gas industry, demonstrating required knowledge, skill, and physical ability.
• Execute physical tasks efficiently, including operating equipment within short timeframes.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and the public.
• Work collaboratively with team members.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures per company and customer standards.
• Load and secure materials or equipment for transport.
• Install, remove, or maintain underground utilities, including carrying heavy items, jackhammering, shoveling, tamping, and pipe installation.
• Secure work sites, equipment, and materials at shift end to ensure safety.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of operating experience.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to obtain a CDL, gas construction experience, strong work ethic, and willingness to work in a team environment.
