Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision on a PRN, day shift. You will follow isolation guidelines, document care, and help with activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, is enrolled in a nursing program or recently completed one, and holds a current BLS certification. Background checks apply; benefits start Day One.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be enrolled in accredited nursing program or completed within 1 year and not yet licensed.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• 1+ year nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of patient care under RN supervision.
• Document procedures accurately according to department policy.
• Follow isolation guidelines and proper PPE usage.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and quality initiatives.
• Assess patients' needs and age-appropriate conditions.
