Job summary

FUJIFILM North America Corporation seeks an Assistant Technical Field Sales Manager based on the West Coast to promote optical products, support field sales, and deliver on-site demonstrations and technical training for Broadcast/Cinema lenses, CCTV, and Z projectors.

Responsibilities include technical sales support, customer training, and coordinating with engineering and the Japan factory for product implementation. Travel and strong collaboration across teams are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in engineering or related disciplines
• 5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced technical and service environment
• Exceptional communication/interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Extensive hands-on experience in technical service and training in broadcast/communications products

Responsibilities

• Provides technical sales support and product expertise for Fujifilm Broadcast, Cinema, and CCTV lens systems, including SX series, Zoom lenses, and Z projectors.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, dealers, rental houses, broadcast stations, third-party vendors, and industry partners.
• Serves as a technical liaison between customers, sales teams, engineering groups, and the factory in Japan for product implementation and troubleshooting.
• Supports regional sales objectives by identifying customer needs and delivering high-level technical consultation.
• Collaborates with sales, marketing, and service teams to ensure consistent product knowledge and customer experience across all product lines.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site demonstrations and training/commissioning.
• Travel for on-site maintenance and check-and-clean services.
• Prepare technical presentations and communicate product updates to internal staff and external partners.Consolidate customer feedback for product development and present to Japan's R&D team.
• Develop and deliver training for sales, operations, and marketing on technical aspects.
