Job summary

Fujifilm is seeking an Assistant Technical Field Sales Manager based on the West Coast to promote optical products and support field sales with on‑site demonstrations and technical training for Broadcast/Cinema lenses, CCTV, and Z projectors.

The role also covers service support, quality control, and customer‑facing technical service across global teams; strong communication and hands‑on technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in engineering or related quantitative disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a close team environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Effective time management skills.
• Extensive hands‑on experience in technical service and training in broadcast/communications products.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical sales support and product expertise for Fujifilm Broadcast, Cinema, and CCTV lens systems across demonstrations, training, and field applications.
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers, dealers, rental houses, broadcast stations, and industry partners.
• Serves as a technical liaison between customers, sales teams, engineering groups, and the factory in Japan.
• Identifies customer needs and delivers high‑level technical consultation before and after the sale.
• Delivers product training for sales, operations, and marketing staff on technical aspects.
• Diagnoses customer complaints and coordinates proactive measures with the technical team.
• Performs on‑site product demonstrations and training/commissioning.
• Monitors repair turnaround and coordinates corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Prepares technical reports and training materials for service operations.
• Collaborates with factory engineers and third‑party vendors for lens integration and performance.
