The Dishwasher role involves maintaining cleanliness in our kitchen, including collecting used dishes, operating dishwashers, and ensuring a steady supply of clean utensils to support our dining service. This shift-based position may include evenings and weekends, aiming to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Hand-wash specific items (e.g., wooden cutting boards, large pots, delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and utensils properly
• Set up workstations before meal prep
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean dishes during peak hours
• Manage cleaning supplies and place orders when needed
• Check and report issues with dishwashing machines
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including floors

Requirements

• Experience as a Dishwasher or in wait staff preferred
• Experience with industrial washing machines preferred
