Job summary

Wendy's is hiring a Highly Skilled HVAC Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across Wendy's locations in Southwest Florida. The role requires hands-on experience with RTUs, walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and related equipment, with on-call responsibilities and a strong safety mindset.

Pay is based on experience level, and first interviews are conducted by telephone.

Qualifications

• HVAC/RTU experience minimum 2 years.
• Familiarity with freezers and walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass criminal and driving background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair walk-in coolers and freezers, sandwich prep stations, ice machines, reach-in coolers/freezers, and RTUs.
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency service requests.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• On call required.

Join our team at QFRM, Inc., a rapidly growing franchise with multiple Wendy's locations. As a Service Technician HVAC & Refrigeration, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing both commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. We have 47 locations throughout Collier, Hendry, Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota and Manatee counties. We are looking for multiple HVAC technicians to service these locations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in HVAC / RTU (minimum 2 years experience)
• Familiarity with freezers, walk in coolers/freezers, small refrigeration units.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Driver's License
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Must pass Criminal and Driving Background Check
