Job summary

Humane Society of Tampa Bay is seeking full-time Vet Techs for the Animal Health Center. You will assist veterinarians, draw blood, perform fecal tests, and support a busy team in a dynamic, caring environment.

This 40-hour workweek includes Saturdays and benefits such as PTO, medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with CE reimbursement for CVTs and a lifting requirement of 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with fecals.
• Must have experience with blood draws.
• Must have experience as a vet tech.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Weekend shifts required.
• Starting pay is $20.00 per hour.
• Sign-on bonus of $2,500 available.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support in the Animal Health Center.
• Assist veterinarians and RVTs during procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment.
• Document patient care and client communications.

For more than 100 years, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay has been dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need. We are currently seeking full-time Vet Techs for our Animal Health Center. Candidates must have clinical experience and must possess and demonstrate excellent team player spirit, be able to multi-task, and show focus and follow through in a very busy, fun environment.

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BLOOD DRAWS
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENE AS A VET TECHNICIAN
• Schedule will include working a weekends.
• 150.00 CE Reimbursement for CVT's
• Must be able to lift 50+lbs
