Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in Illinois is seeking energetic team players for a retail sales role in our salon. You’ll provide upbeat customer consultations, help customers choose tanning, skin care and wellness options, and work toward daily and weekly sales goals.

We offer competitive pay with commission opportunities, flexible scheduling, and a benefits package for full-time staff, including medical and dental coverage, 401(k) and perks on our membership programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Retail, Customer Service or Sales Experience helpful, but not required.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for up to 7 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals (measured daily, weekly, and monthly).
• Provide professional, upbeat customer consultations.
• Consult with customers on skin care, wellness options, sunbed and spray tanning options, and educate them on the Golden Rules of Tanning while ensuring all company and legal guidelines are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized salon environment.
• Handle cash transactions and oversee opening/closing duties.
• Complete daily administrative tasks and track goals.
