Department: RIST-5: Hudson and Essex Counties

Salary: $46,000 - $48,000 + $2,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Location: Union, NJ based (travel throughout Hudson and Essex Counties)

Work hours: Sunday - Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm (40 hours weekly)

Position Overview:

As a member of the multidisciplinary Community Support Services team, you will provide resource development, skill development, and direct support to assist individuals with serious mental illness enrolled in CSS to integrate into their community of choice.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in social work, human services, counseling, psychiatric rehabilitation, psychology, or criminal justice from an accredited college or university, with at least two years of experience in a community-based behavioral healthcare setting. Certification as a psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner may substitute for one year of experience. Staff under this subsection work under supervision and cannot supervise others.
• Bachelor’s degree in a helping profession from an accredited institution.
• Master’s degree in a helping profession from an accredited institution.
• Individuals with only a bachelor’s degree in a non-helping field require at least two years of professional experience in community behavioral health care.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner may substitute for one year of experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than one moving violation in the past 12 months; vehicle required.
