Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to influence others.
• Able to stand, bend, and walk for 7+ hours daily.
• Must lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Achieve sales goals through training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to staff, including coaching and correcting employees.
• Complete company operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on results.
• Achieve financial objectives by monitoring controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales and other expenses.
• Maintain the salon's reputation by complying with all legal requirements and ensuring cleanliness and readiness for customers.
• Establish rapport with customers to build loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and net profits.

On the job training to learn management responsibilities includes:

• Maintaining salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.

• Maintaining the stability and reputation of the salon by complying with all legal requirements.
• Managing and assigning tasks appropriately to ensure the salons are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept, and customer ready.
• Establishing rapport with customers building loyalty and long-term relationships
• Creating a positive, motivating, team based environment.
• Investigating and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyzing daily sales and expense information and performing all other financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.
• Safeguarding and accounting for all money received and being responsible for banking requirements.
